Paul's remarkable journey in this sector commenced at the young age of 17 in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. His early days involved driving a 3.5-tonner, delivering goods to the cloth mills of Lancashire. This initial phase of his career laid the foundation for a lifelong dedication to the haulage industry, as he quickly progressed to managing 7.5-tonners and earned his class one license at the age of 21.
Throughout his early career, Paul's expertise expanded while working with esteemed haulage firms. He drove flatbeds for Jo Dean Transports in Halifax and navigated across the UK with George Walker Transport in Leeds, specializing in curtain siders. His travels brought him to Scotland, a pivotal turn in both his personal and professional life, where he eventually settled and met his life partner.
After relocating to Scotland over two decades ago, Paul continued to evolve in the haulage world, initially with John Miller Transport and later transitioning to a self-employed role in 1996. His journey took a significant leap when he was approached by Baltic Transport Group, leading to a strategic partnership where Paul now oversees their UK operations. 
Paul's multifaceted experience, from hands-on driver to strategic director, equips him with a unique perspective that resonates with both our clients and our team.
